a little history
For over a decade, GIFTED Math and Reading and S&L Learning Center 實力補習 have been serving the community in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. We have trained, assisted, and honed the skills of exceptionally talented students of various learning levels.
One of our former students, Zi Tong Huang, was accepted into Stuyvesant High School scoring 699, a 2nd place score in Mark Twain. He was also placed 3rd in 2009 and 2nd place in 2010 in the US National MathCount Challenge. Through his own hard work and dedication, he has also become a major member of the math team in Stuyvesant High School. In 2012, another former student, Winton Yee (President of National Junior Honor Society) achieved a score of 708 on the SHSAT which was 1st place in Mark Twain out of 428 students.
Every year, our center has contained numerous students whose scores have excelled past 650 to be accepted into Stuyvesant High School. Even after students have secured their places in the specialized high schools, they continue to develop their minds and push boundaries to their fullest potential. For example, on the SHSAT, our student Maxmillian Wu scored 1st place in St. Ann Junior High School; Jacky Cheung, 1st place in David A. Boody Junior High School; and Jia Lin Ke, 1st place in Salk Junior High School.
Top students come from our center every year. We train students using an individualized practicing method as well as advanced test preparation courses. We have helped numerous students get into their dream schools. Our students' passing rate in OLSAT/BSRA and SHSAT has far exceeded the passing rate in all school districts of the city.

WINTON YEE, MARKTWAIN 2012 毕业典礼发言
本校學生ZiTongHuang從小學二年紀開始參加我們的培訓﹐於2009年和2010年分別獲得全美國數學Mathcount比賽個人第三名和第二名。2010年又以總分699分的優越成績考人史蒂文生高中﹐同年獲得所有MarkTwain426名考生三大高中考試總分第二名﹐進入史蒂文生高中後再考自己的實力成為史校數學隊主戰隊員。

2012年另一名實力補習社學生WintonYee(在我校培訓八年)以708分的驕人成績摘取MarkTwain天才初中428名畢業生的第一名!!! Winton現任National Junior Honor Society主席﹐多次在校獲獎﹐他的文章曾入選TeenInk.
560分左右是歷年史蒂文生入學分數。但我們每年卻有眾多學生能超過650分。考入三大高中不難﹐難就難在考入三大高中後﹐繼續保持位居上游的實力和信心。
以下是其中一些在其他初中奪取全校畢業第一名的學生。JACKY CHEUNG獲DAVID BOODY初中第一名。MAXIMILLIAM WU獲ST. ANN初中第一名。JIALIN KE獲SALK初中第一名.

培養出少部份天才學生﹐並不能說明實力補習學校的優勢﹐但如果大量的學生都成為各學校的第一或傑出學校的傑出代表﹐這才是實力補習獨樹一幟的地方。我們遵循因材施教的教育理念﹐堅持聘請最好天才班的專業執照老師﹐挖掘學生內在的潛能。我們的目標是幫助更多學生進入一流學校﹐贏在起跑先线。
